Hey,

Issue #010. The big one.

⚙️ AI TOOL OF THE WEEK: OpenClaw — Your Own Personal AI Agent

This is the episode where I show you everything. Nine issues in, you've seen the output. Now here's the full machine.

What it is: OpenClaw is an open-source AI agent runtime that runs locally on your machine. You connect it to an AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, your choice), connect it to Telegram, configure a workspace folder, and you have a personal AI assistant with a mobile interface — running on your hardware, with your data, with no SaaS subscription.

The stack:

• OpenClaw (agent runtime, open source)
• Telegram (interface — your phone is the terminal)
• Anthropic Claude (the model)
• Your workspace (markdown files that define the agent's memory and behavior)

Install in 5 minutes:

npm install -g openclaw
openclaw setup
openclaw gateway start

Create a Telegram bot via BotFather, drop the token in config, message the bot. Done.

The workspace files that matter:

AGENTS.md — agent behavior. Startup checklist, memory rules, when to reach out proactively.

SOUL.md — voice and personality. No filler phrases. Direct. Has opinions. Doesn't say "Great question!"

USER.md — context about you. Name, timezone, goals, projects, content plan. The agent reads this every session. It knows what you're building before you say a word.

MEMORY.md — long-term memory. Decisions, lessons, context that survives session restarts.

The skills system: Skills are markdown files with instructions for specific repeatable tasks. The video pipeline skill tells the agent exactly how to write narration, generate audio, render video, and confirm output. Write a skill once. It runs indefinitely.

Proactive behavior: The agent doesn't just respond — it checks in. Periodic heartbeats wake it up to do background work. It messages you when something needs attention. It built this episode while I slept.

💰 MONEY MOVE: Sell the Setup

"I'll build your personal AI content assistant." That's the offer.

One day of work. Deliver: OpenClaw installed, workspace configured, Telegram connected, custom skills for their workflow, a documented runbook.

Charge $2,000 for setup. Optional $500/month retainer.

The buyer gets their workflow automated. You deliver a system you've built eight times. EP009 gave you the offer template. This is the product.

⛓️ CRYPTO/WEB3 SIGNAL

AI agents with on-chain wallets are moving from experiment to production. The pattern: agent monitors a condition, generates a transaction, executes within predefined risk limits or surfaces for human approval. The tooling is maturing fast — account abstraction + AI agent orchestration is a real primitive now. Engineers who understand both sides of this will have an edge.

Ten issues. A YouTube channel. An automated content pipeline. A growing newsletter.

All of it runs on one conversation with a bot.

Forward this to one engineer. That's the only ask.
